Jessie Rae Acoustic Quad

Joan Meyer

Joan M. Meyer
Vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards
Joan is the leader of the Jessie Rae band. Respectfully, "Jessie" is her grandmother's first name and "Rae" is her sister's middle name. Joan's songwriting brings subtle, soulful grooves with a direct edge to the Jessie Rae sound.

Lauren Semler

Lauren G. Semler
Guitar, bass, backup vocals
Lauren is from the Midwest and brings the "roots" to the Jessie Rae band. His slide guitar work and wah-wah sounds help to define the band's unique sound.

Wendy Owens
Vocals, percussion
Wendy played drums with an all-women country band called Ann Jones and The Sweet Hearts when she was just 16 years old. She also performed with Mark Knight & Software for over 15 years. Currently, Wendy sings and plays percussion with the Jessie Rae band. She is also the owner of Kebobs Bento & Espresso Drive-Thru in the Salmon Creek area of Vancouver, Washington.

David Duffield
Blues Cornet, Flugelhorn
David Duffield's soulful contributions on Cornet and Flugelhorn lend a colorful taste of blues tradition, hearkening back to Louis Armstrong and Bix Biederbecke. Duffy's sound is inspired by his mentor, hero and close friend, Wayne Jackson of the legendary MEMPHIS HORNS.
Duffield (aka: Duffy) also plays with KC Brass & Electric. Click Blue Mule recording artists KC Brass & Electric to find out more about their CD releases. Click here to check out their second release "Tell Me What You Want."

Dave Rosenberg
Bass
Dave Rosenberg is originally from Buffalo, New York but he is also a stage and studio veteran who has played extensively in the Boston and Nashville music scenes. He never ceases to amaze.
Rosenberg has performed with guitarist and grammy contender Leah Zicari as well as in New York's Grateful Dead tribute band The Maniacs.

Ken Woodside
Drums
Ken Woodside is from the Portland area and can play everything from punk to country. He has played with such acts as Shorty and the Mustangs, Billy Kennedy, Little Sue, Lynn Conover, Jim Boyer, David Lipkind and more. He is rock steady and has some serious chops.

Jim Bronson

Jim Bronson
Guitar
Jim Bronson is originally from the Boston area, but has been performing in the Northwest since the mid-80's. With a wealth of musical experience from rhythm & blues and rock & roll to country, folk and jazz, look for Jim to serve up a variety of styles with an original flair.
