Jessie Rae
Acoustic Quad
|
|

|
Joan M. Meyer
Vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards
Joan
is the leader of the Jessie Rae band. Respectfully, "Jessie"
is her grandmother's first name and "Rae" is her sister's middle
name. Joan's songwriting brings subtle, soulful grooves with a direct
edge to the Jessie Rae sound.

Lauren
G. Semler
Guitar, bass, backup vocals
Lauren
is from the Midwest and brings the "roots" to the Jessie Rae
band. His slide guitar work and wah-wah sounds help to define the band's
unique sound.

Wendy played drums with an all-women country band called Ann Jones and
The Sweet Hearts when she was just 16 years old. She also performed with
Mark Knight & Software for over 15 years. Currently, Wendy sings and
plays percussion with the Jessie Rae band. She is also the owner of Kebobs
Bento & Espresso Drive-Thru in the Salmon Creek area of Vancouver,
Washington.

David Duffield
Blues Cornet, Flugelhorn
David
Duffield's soulful contributions on Cornet and Flugelhorn lend a colorful
taste of blues tradition, hearkening back to Louis Armstrong and Bix Biederbecke.
Duffy's sound is inspired by his mentor, hero and close friend, Wayne
Jackson of the legendary MEMPHIS HORNS.
Duffield (aka: Duffy) also plays with KC Brass & Electric. Click Blue
Mule recording artists KC Brass & Electric to find out more about
their CD releases. Click here to check out their second release "Tell
Me What You Want."
